Stace has noticed a particular friend of hers who changes his personality when he’s in a certain group of people, and while talking about it with another mate of hers, the term ‘grouping disorder’ came up.

Apparently, people with a grouping disorder don’t realise that they have it, but make subtle changes in their personality depending on who they’re around. This is most likely because people accentuate certain points of their personality to match the person they’re talking to at the time.

Another of Stace’s mates has been doing it very obviously. She’s really insular when around her high school friends, arty around her work friends and has a more lazy personality when hanging out with her family.

Kristie notices that Stace might have been turning her personality up around certain people – but the more she thinks about it, she’s been noticing grouping since her early 20’s!
